What to Expect
Bible
We do not have a standard Bible translation, and our congregation uses a variety. Our pastor preaches from the NASB95 and that is what is in the pews. We do not care which you use, we just love people reading the Bible!
Services
Our services last around 90 minutes. We have music, prayers and a sermon. The sermons may be longer than you are used to. Our pastor preaches expositionally through the Scriptures and we love the word of God, so we do not mind.
Attire
Regarding attire, do not give it a second thought. You may see a couple suits and ties but most people dress fairly casually. We don’t care what you wear, just come and worship with us!
Children
We have a mostly family integrated service style, meaning we do not have a separate church for children. We value the family worshiping together! We are not bothered at all by noises made by children! Let them wiggle and be present. We do have a nursery for 4 and under and a mother’s room for young children as well.
Giving
We do not take an offering during the service and if you are visiting there is no expectation that you would give. We just want you to come and worship with us. If you are inclined to give, there is a small box near the sound booth area. You can also give online.
Worship
Our church is not 'cool.' You will not find LED lights, fog machines, or a big rock band. That is not who we are and is not who we want to be. We are not an entertainment venue! What you will find is a group of imperfect people worshiping a perfect God. Our services are Christ centered, not man centered. If you want a biblically centered, Bible teaching, and Christ honoring church then you may find a home at BBBC!
